Obituary for Louis Schuman Jr.

South Plainfield – Louis Schuman, Jr., 81, died early Monday morning, October 2, 2017 at home.

Born and raised in Cranford, Louis has resided in South Plainfield for 50 years. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church, an avid runner and will be remembered for his red Porsche.

An honorable discharged veteran of the United States Airforce, he was a New York City/New Jersey Port Authority Officer.

Louis is survived by his wife, Lillas (Wright) Schuman and three children, Renia Schuman, Carla Butler and Louis Schuman III. He will also be missed by his five grandchildren, Angela, Louis IV, Daren, Queen and Keri.

Family and friends may gather for visitation on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 2-5PM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080.
