It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Jennifer Panek, who would have been 39 years old on February 12, 2025. Born in Queens, NY, Jennifer spent her childhood between Brooklyn and Staten Island, NY and for the past 10 years, she had been a beloved resident of Middlesex, NJ.
Jennifer had a deep love for her friends and family, always putting others first. She was the heart and soul of every gathering, her laughter and love made every moment memorable. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by loved ones, and she made sure everyone felt valued and cared for.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Jennifer found peace and joy in nature and spending it with her family. Whether it was camping under the stars, or simply enjoying a quiet moment outdoors, she felt most at home in the fresh air and surrounded by natural beauty.
In her professional life, Jennifer worked with special needs children, always prioritizing their needs and making a lasting impact on their lives. She touched so many hearts with her unwavering compassion, understanding, and patience.
Family and friendships were everything to Jennifer; she is predeceased by her father, Kenneth West who passed in 2010.
Jennifer will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Justin; her two adoring children who she had a deep and profound love for, Andrew and Emma; mother, Janet Fitzgerald and her step-father Eugene formerly of Staten Island, NY currently of North Ft. Myers, FL.; brother, Christopher West; mother and father-in-law, Leonora and Richard Panek; sister-in-law, Angelique Martinez and her husband Rick all of Staten Island, NY; brother-in-law, Lorne Panek and his wife Barbara of Fords; aunt, Brie Lauren of Manhattan, NY and nieces, Milana, Isabelle and Alexandria. In addition, the community of Middlesex, as well as her childhood neighborhood of Brooklyn and Staten Island, mourns her loss, as she was truly a cherished member of both.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering to remember and celebrate Jennifer's life on Saturday, February 22, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM. A prayer service will begin at 3:45 PM, followed by family reflections at 4:15 PM. The gathering will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Rd, Middlesex, NJ 08846.
Jennifer’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, love for her family, and the light she brought to everyone around her.
