Dolores Nardozzi Cerillo, sadly passed away on February 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on November 6, 1934 and is predeceased by her husband Patrick Cerillo, parents Frieda and Charles Nardozzi and her step-daughter Jennifer Emanuel.

Dolores is survived by her children; Dorothy De Filippis Ortega (Rusty,) Anthony De Filippis (Denise,) and step-son Patrick Cerillo (Cindy.)  She also leaves behind her sister Rose Nardozzi Claytor, brother Carmen Nardozzi, grandchildren; April De Filippis Pizzo (Jason,) Anthony De Filippis (Lindsay,) and great-grandchildren; Jack and Julian Pizzo and Olivia, Ava &Jayce

Dolores graduated from Bound Brook High School and worked a variety of different jobs.  She retired in 1997 from Somerset County Board of Social Services where she was a Supervisor.

Always joking and pranking people, Dolores could have been a stand-up comedian.  She loved being silly and making everyone laugh.  She loved her family most of all, but also her laptop, recliner and online shopping. A true shopaholic, she could always be found ordering something for herself or others, mostly from Amazon. 

Dolores was loved by many, missed by all and will forever be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 beginning 10:00am.  Concluding prayers will be held at 12:30pm followed by mausoleum entombment at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
