I'm so sorry and prayers for everyone. Uncle Jerry and Aunt Kathy were basically adopted by the Berberick Family and they pretty much came to everything from birthday parties and new years and labor day to weddings ect. I have so many amazing memories with them and Uncle Jerry was an amazing guy. He always used to make sure to give you a hug and kiss hello and goodbye and he loved good food and we would always sit together and talk about the good food and I sit there and listen to him and grandpa and dad talk all about their adventures in life and the ladies they loved. You will forever be in my heart and in my memories Uncle Jerry ❤️

My condolences to Kathy and family. Jerry and I are 9 months apart. We lived in his Grandfather’s 3 Family apartment house in Stapleton. . Jerry the first floor and Me on the third.
We played every day. Cowboy and Indians and soldiers. We called each other Cousins. Friends forever. Jerry and family moved to Todt Hill. Jerry was A very talented ball player.
When he returned from Viet Nam. Kevin lent us his surf board. I had a VW. bug. We had to put the board through the sun roof to transport it to Rockaway beach, to catch some Waves. And we did.
Years later we went to Great Adventure, NJ. Christopher and my Christine were very close in age.
Fun , Fun , Fun.
He will be missed for sure. God takes care of the Good Guys. My Childhood friend is gone.
Bud Hamilton , Hudson Florida.

Gerry was a kind person and always smiling! He will be remembered by the Cahills for showing that kindness to my Mom when he donated platelets for her many years ago. He also pinned a tiny koala onto her robe ,which I still treasure!
