Virginia Picciottoli Obituary

South Plainfield – Virginia Picciottoli, 70, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday afternoon, March 23, 2025.

Born in Irvington to the late Angelo and Frances DeSordi, Virginia and her husband Dan settled to South Plainfield 32 years ago and raised their family.  Virginia cherished the time she spent with her children and as their family grew her grandchildren.  She spent countless hours connecting and building up her relationships with friends. Virginia also kept a special place in her heart for her cats.

Virginia faithfully attended and worshiped at Crossroads Christian Fellowship in Union.  She was thoughtful, generous, and sought the Lord through prayer in so many aspects of her life, especially her friends and family.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Daniel Picciottoli; her two children, Natalie Gussis and husband Brian and Michael Picciottoli and wife Katherine as well as her five grandchildren and sister, Valerie Moreira and husband Nestor.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 in the Crossroads Christian Fellowship, 2815 Morris Avenue, Union NJ 07083 beginning at 1pm.

Afterwards, please join the family for a time of fellowship and food in the Fellowship Hall of the Church.
