Obituary of Vivian Browning
Vivian Browning (née Molnar), 87, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
Born in Newark, Vivian grew up in the Vailsberg section and had been a resident of Piscataway since 1980.
Vivian was a dedicated employee and worked as an executive secretary at AT&T for 32 years. She was also an ardent lover of animals, especially her horse, Rhett Butler, and her two Golden Retrievers, Gerry and Shilah. She and her husband, Dennis, also rescued countless other animals, including birds, a pet squirrel named Mikey, and kittens she lovingly named M&M.
Affectionately called "Ooma" by her family, Vivian was the life of the party. She lit up a room the moment she walked in with her perfectly coiffed hair and oversized sunglasses. Ooma loved to care for those around her, flip flops clacking as she bustled to make cups of tea, and ensured every grandchild and great-grandchild had a special treat in hand. She was- in short- fabulous. Life will be less grand and less bright without her.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Roxanne Jamack, and all of her siblings. Surviving are her husband, Dennis; daughter, Karen Cocca (Robert) of Mays Landing; daughter, Gwen Gallina (Ralph) of Piscataway; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
All services for Mrs. Browning are private and have been entrusted to the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854
