I had Mr Quagliano when my parents forced me to go to summer school after getting a D in Algebra. I wasn’t a great student up to then. I’m not sure how he did it but I enjoyed the class with him and then went on to make honor roll for the rest of high school. He was a great teacher and human being. RIP

I was a student of Mr. Quagliano and member of the National Honor Society. He was an excellent teacher who could explain math very well and he cared about his students. All the best to his family and friends.

We were Tony's next door neighbors at the shore for the last six years. He was like family to us. We are completely devastated by the news we got today...May 25. Beyond our comprehension...we were expecting him to greet us today and we find this sad, sad news. The children will miss his delicious brownies. The best around! We will miss our talks, sharing meals with him, and simply his presence. We know his faith has lead him to peace. May he rest in the Lord's hands forever.
Deb, Dave, Jamie, Adam, Stacey, Rick and the children, Ricky, Joey and Sophie...Good-bye Tony.

Q: How did you meet Anthony?
A: Our family met Tony in 1985 when we moved to Manahawkin. He was such a good, kind, thoughtful friend and neighbor who lived across the lagoon from us. We enjoyed his company each spring when he came down for the summer. We enjoyed our time spent with him . Our deepest sympathy goes to his family. We are so shocked and saddened by his passing. God bless him. Rosemarie and Rich Boczon

Condolences to family and friends. I meet Tony at a Bible Study and went to the same church. He had a quiet and pleasant spirit. We connected as friends, didn't see each other much outside those services but when we met it was like seeing each other with no lost time. Many will miss him especially me. I call him my jello man, he loved jello. May his soul rest until Jesus Christ returns and we meet again. May Father God comfort his family and loves ones through this trying time.Blessing your Sister in Christ. Ms Carolyn Hagood -Stephenson

I remember Mr. Quag as a challenging but fair math teacher with a patented behind the back chalk toss. My favorite memory was during a ski club trip. He took a fall and in his ski suit on an icy slope, just kept sliding and spinning down the slope until we blocked him on the downhill side and reached out a pole from the uphill side. His reaction “I’m not gonna let a silly little fall like that stop me!” Great outlook! RIP Mr. Quag!
