

Obituary of Anthony C. Quagliano
South Plainfield – Anthony C. Quagliano, 77, passed away Monday morning, April, 21, 2025 at JFK Medical Center.
Born to the late Michael and Wanda (Warick) Quagliano, Anthony grew up in Hoboken and settled to South Plainfield in 1973.
Anthony had a fulfilling career in education, particularly in mathematics, at Westfield Public Schools. His participation with extracurricular activities like the Ski Club and National Honor Society indicates a commitment to enriching students' experiences beyond the classroom until his retirement.
In addition, Anthony was a devoted member of the Scotch Plains Christian Church and the Evangel Church of Scotch Plains. His faith and service were central to his life, and he positively impacted many through his involvement in church activities and community outreach.
Predeceased by his brother, Robert Quagliano and brother in law, Larry Colvin; surviving are his five siblings, Michael Quagliano and his wife Ruth, Cynthia Colvin, Joyce Puglese and husband Peter, Karen Gigantino and husband Ronald and Christina Niedzielski and husband Steve. He will also be missed by his seven nieces and nephews and two great nieces.
Visitation will be held at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Sunday April 27, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Family and friends may gather on Monday April 28, 2025 at 9:30 am at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080
Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday April 28, 2025 at 10:00 am followed by burial at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
