Obituary of Linda Schutzbach
Middlesex, NJ – Linda Schutzbach, 52, passed away after a battle with cancer on May 26, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Somerville to Kreszentia (Matthes) and the late Anton Schutzbach, Linda resided in Piscataway prior to settling in Middlesex.
Since the age of fifteen, Linda has been employed in different roles at Acme Supermarkets. Most recently, she was head cashier for Acme in New Providence. Linda was full of life and could always be found smiling. She enjoyed working, had a love for animals; especially cats, dogs and bumble bees and whenever Linda left the house, it was imperative she looked good. Even with the difficulties that life threw at her, she always proceeded smile and keep a positive attitude.
Predeceased by her father Anton in 2021, Linda leaves behind her loving family; mother Kreszentia “Cindy” Schutzbach and her brother Frank Schutzbach, of Green Brook and her partner Nicholas Orofino and his son Alek of Bound Brook.
Visitation will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2pm until 4pm and on Monday, June 2, 2025 beginning 10:00am. Catholic prayers will be held 10:30am in the funeral home on Monday, June 2, 2025 followed by burial at Bound Brook Cemetery.
