Obituary of Edwin Charles Bennett
Edwin Charles “Chuck” Bennet 64 originally of Piscataway New Jersey, passed away on the 23rd of April, 2025.
Chuck, born on November 21, 1960 in Perth Amboy New Jersey, was the son of the late Edwin Roy Bennett, and the late Marcia Mae Bennett. Chuck was a 1979 graduate of Piscataway High School, and a proud lifelong member of the Steamfitters Local 475 of Warren New Jersey. When not working on jobsites across the state, Chuck was an avid golfer, skier and softball player.
Chuck was predeceased by his father Edwin Roy, and his mother Marcia Mae, and his brothers Christopher and Michael.
Chuck is survived by his loving sister Kathryn Ann Wiseman, and brother in law Brien William Wiseman, of Cranbury New Jersey. Chuck is also survived by his niece Megan Elizabeth Wiseman of Brooklyn, New York, his nephew William Patrick Wiseman, along with his wife Samantha, and their two children, of Metuchen New Jersey, and his niece Colleen Bennett Wiseman of Richmond Virginia. Chuck is also survived by his aunt Rose Bennett, of Manchester, New Jersey, and his cousins Robert, Liz, and Deb.
Chuck’s family would also like to thank and acknowledge all of his many friends from Lake Nelson and Local 475, for all of their love and support over the years.
Services for Chuck will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 between 9am and 11am at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, N.J.
The burial will take place immediately after the services at the Resurrection Cemetery, Hoes Lane, Piscataway, N.J.
