

Obituary of Rupert C. Ronquillo
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rupert Ronquillo, who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 92. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him and touched their lives.
Born on June 7, 1933 in Pampanga, Philippines, Rupert C. Ronquillo was the child of Felipe and Catalina Ronquillo. He graduated from Mapua University and went on to pursue a career in Mechanical Engineering, where he made a lasting impact through designing, building, construction, demolition, dismantling and relocation of industrial facilities. More importantly, he used his talents, time, and generosity to construct two churches in the Philippines.
Rupert was known for his kind heart, helping anyone in need and brightening the lives of others. He also enjoyed being a handyman, building and fixing anything and everything often for others. His other passion was gardening and sharing all of the produce with neighbors and friends. Whatever the activity may be, he did it with love and brought joy and warmth to others.
Rupert is survived by his wife, Anastacia. He leaves behind his children Rosemarie Ronquillo, Ruperto (Maria Shyrell) Ronquillo, Rodelio (Cecille) Ronquillo and Rosabel (Edmundo) Jimenez; his grandchildren, Roel, Reece, Anamaria, Alexia, Jarred and Ysabelle; and siblings, Oscar and Virgilio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Catalina Ronquillo.
A Private Memorial Service was held on June 16, 2025, to celebrate Rupert’s life, under the direction of All County Funeral Home & Crematory.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Frances Cabrini RC Church, Piscataway, NJ on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10 AM.
Rupert's cremated remains will be entombed, following mass, at Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway, NJ.
