
Obituary of Karen A. Cosentino
Karen A. Cosentino, 68, a lifelong resident of Middlesex, NJ, died on July 20 after a long illness.
Karen was a graduate of Middlesex High School and Douglass College of Rutgers University. Throughout her short life, she was employed by such corporations as Bell Corp, AT&T and Exxon International. She was also a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Middlesex.
In her personal life, Karen was a fan of popular culture. She especially enjoyed 60s and 70s music and her favorite artists included Steven Tyler, Linda Ronstadt, Sting, and Carole King. Later in life, she watched and enjoyed David Letterman and other late night comic hosts. Karen watched VMAs, CMAs and every other major award show you can name. In sports, her teams were the Yankees and the Giants.
Karen also liked to travel. As a child she and her family camped throughout Canada and New England. Later, she expanded that itinerary to include Mexico, Hawaii, the UK, Spain and Italy.
Immediate survivors include her two brothers, August of New York City and John of Middlesex.
Family and friends may gather in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road Middlesex NJ 08846 on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 9AM – 10AM.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10:30AM in Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex NJ 08846 followed by entombment in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
