Kevin Wytko, 70, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in Middlesex, NJ.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, to the late Wanda and Julius Wytko, Kevin grew up in Edison, NJ, where he was a graduate of JP Stevens High School, Class of 73, and resided until 1976. He then relocated to South Plainfield for 25 years before moving to Middlesex until 2019. In 2019, he made one final move to Hudson, FL, where he has resided since.
At a young age, Kevin began working with his father on a bread route for Pepperidge Farm, a route his father would later share with him. After a few years, Kevin went on to sell the route, allowing him to buy his first home. After selling the bread route, he began working for Twin County Grocers, in their warehouse, and remained there until the company closed its doors. Kevin then worked for Marriot and ultimately Tropicana, until retiring in 2019, just before moving to Florida.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoyed the outdoors, often times hunting or fishing. He was also an active member of the Mount Lebanon Bow and Gun Club. Above all else, his favorite moments were with his children and grandchildren when they would go crabbing, fishing and swimming in the waves at the Jersey shore.
Kevin is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia Mondero and her husband Melvin, and Lisa Mancino and her husband Adam; grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Sandro, and Sienna; and siblings, Debra Smit, Wanda Lorfing, Lisa Wytko, and Jeffrey Wytko, along with a host of extended relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at the Middlesex Funeral home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ, on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 4 PM to 7 PM.
A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 6:30 PM.
Cremation services will be held privately.
