Obituary of Veronica Petrisin

Veronica “Ronnie” Petrisin (née Cremer) passed away on August 24th, 2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She is survived by her devoted husband, George; their children, Erik (Jamie) and Nicole (Jhon); her parents, George and JoAnn; her brother, Stanley; her in-laws, George and Bunnie; and many cherished friends. Ronnie grew up in Piscataway and later settled in Middlesex, where she raised her family. Throughout her career in childcare, she nurtured and cared for countless children—each one remembered and loved as if they were her own. Ronnie had an enormous heart and always put family and friends first. She was vibrant, outgoing, and full of life. A true animal lover, she always had space in her heart and home for furry and feathered companions. Creative and crafty, Ronnie was a skilled cross-stitcher and puzzle enthusiast—no challenge was too difficult for her. She had a deep appreciation for music of all kinds and was a proud, lifelong Mets fan. Of all the wonderful things Ronnie was and did, her greatest legacy is the selfless love she had for her family. A devoted daughter, wife, mother, and friend, she will be deeply missed. The joy and kindness she shared will never be forgotten. A visitation will be held at the Middlesex Funeral Home on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex, NJ, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 10 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home prior to mass, beginning at 9 AM. Following mass, cremation services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the Petrisin family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or ask for a memorial mass to be celebrated in Veronica's name at your home parish.
