Obituary of Jose R Pazmino

Plainfield - Jose R. Pazmino, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at home. Born and raised in Ecuador, Jose immigrated to the United States in his early 20s. He worked for Breeze Eastern as a union machinist for many years. Jose was an active and vibrant person, he loved swimming, running, walking, nature, playing tennis, working out and always staying in great shape. His talents extended beyond sports —he was a gifted singer and guitar player, filling his family and friends with joy through his music. He loved to eat rabbit and guinea pig, his favorite Ecuadorian delicacies. He loved playing games and pranks, he made everyone laugh with his witty banter and great sense of humor. He lived life with passion and charisma. Surviving are his three children, daughters Luna Pazmino, Ana Lisa Pazmino, his son Jose Pazmino and his wife Heather; his ex wife, Anita Pazmino as well as his six grandchildren, Xavier, Angelina, Hazel, Lucas, Noah and Nicholas. He is also survived by his siblings Armando, Maruja and Sergio. A visitation will be held at the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ, on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5PM to 8PM. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 10AM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home beginning at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
