Mabel (Mickey) S. Hoffmann
February 13, 1932 – September 16, 2025
Mabel (Mickey) S. Hoffmann passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in the City of Hoboken, New Jersey, Mickey later made her home in Little Ferry, New Jersey. She retired from Sears Holding Co., Hackensack, NJ, where she worked as a dedicated Sales Associate.
A devoted and active member of St. James Episcopal Church in Ridgefield, NJ, Mickey served as Superintendent of the Children’s Church School for over 20 years. She was also a cherished member of the church choir, the Episcopal Church Women’s group, and participated in numerous activities and fundraisers. Her warm presence and unwavering commitment made her beloved by all who knew her at St. James.
Mickey lived life with joy and purpose. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends, and her passion for life was evident in everything she did.
She is predeceased by her parents, Mabel and Richard H. Stalling and her brother, Richard J. Stalling and his wife Mary Ann.
Mickey is survived by her beloved son, Nicolas Hoffmann; nieces, Deborah A. and Sandra M. Stalling; nephews, Richard H. Stalling and his wife Betty Ann, and Donald E. Stalling and his wife Caroline; cousins, Lee Ann Baxmeyer and her husband Barry, and Holly Aquinos and her husband Aldo, and great niece and nephews, Edward J. Bachorik, Jr. and his wife Lydia, Joseph R. Bachorik and his wife Christine, Daniel J. Stalling and his wife Kelly, Thomas J. Stalling and his wife Dana, Courtney E. Bloomer and her husband Sean, and Robert J. Stalling and his wife Jennifer, as well as extended relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the funeral service of cremated remains on Saturday, October, 4 2025 at 9am at St. James Episcopal Church 514 Abbott Ave. Ridgefield, New Jersey 07657.
Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery, 439 South Pine Street, South Amboy, New Jersey 08879.
