Obituary of Bethann M Gold
We are devastated to share that Bethann Megan Gold is no longer dancing on this earth, passed October 17th 2025, in Edison, NJ. Beth was a beautiful soul, known to friends and family for her creativity, witty remarks, her love of cats and chocolate, and her whole-hearted enthusiasm for all of her hobbies and endeavors.
She had a passion for drama, always wanting to be in the spotlight. Even from childhood, she would put on plays in the backyard. Beth joined all of the plays and musicals from Bishop Ahr HS to South Plainfield HS and Summer Drama Workshop during the summers. She joined the Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast, where she continued her love of stage and musicals. She even took dance classes during the high school years to improve her on-stage presence.
That love of dance continued through her life with country line dancing, belly dancing, and eventually ballroom and west coast swing. She would go to many conventions every year, particularly the one in Denver, CO. She also took capoeira, which is essentially martial arts dancing. When Beth wasn't at a dancing event or class, she could be found at the gym, preparing for one of the 5ks she signed up for.
Beth was a lover of learning. She taught herself 3 other languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian; 4 if you include geek. You could always catch her putting in time on the language apps. She also taught herself how to play the guitar, how to draw and paint, and how to do taxes the old fashioned way.
She fell in love with traveling, always wanting to see where the wind could take her. Unfortunately, time and money prevented the bucket list places.
For anyone who knew her, Beth was fiercely loyal to anyone she called friend, always wanting to make them laugh and smile, going above and beyond to make them feel appreciated and seen.
We will greatly miss Beth in all her glittery glory and her smiles that shone like the stars she loved.
