Obituary of Virginia Alice Sellner
Virginia Alice Sellner, 81, passed away peacefully Monday morning, October 20, 2025 at home.
Born and raised in Middlesex to the late George and Alice Senna, Virginia celebrated 56 years of marriage to her husband Joseph this past July.
Virginia was an avid traveler, enjoying over 30 cruises around the world as well as traveling domestically to visit family. She was a devoted wife and mother to her three children, Holly, Matthew and Jonathan. Virginia was also a devoted animal lover and had a special compassion for all dogs, cats and birds. Prior to having kids, Virginia worked in healthcare at St. Peters Medical Center.
Predeceased by her father George, mother Alice and brother, George; she is survived by her husband, Joseph; three children, Holly, Matthew and Jonathan (Jean) as well as a sister in law, Barbara Senna. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Laura, Scott, Suzanne, Eric and Sean. A special thanks to Marcy her aide who helped her with great compassion and care during her years of declining health.
Family and friends may gather in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Avenue, Middlesex on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 5PM – 8PM.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11AM, following is burial in Lake Nelson Memorial Park.
