He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio and was the son of Donald and Vivian Hall.
From an early age, was destined to be the center of attention. With his characteristic flair and swagger, he often drew comparisons to the rock-and-roll icon, Rod Stewart. He possessed a truly magnetic personality; Roger wasn't just at the party—he was the party. Above all, Roger will be remembered for the size of his heart.
He was an incredibly generous and supportive friend, always ready to lend a hand, an ear, or a laugh. He had a unique ability to lift the spirits of those around him, making everyone feel appreciated and cared for. His devotion was unwavering; to his closest friends, he made sure to end every conversation with the perfect words: "I love you."
He lived his life to the fullest, embracing simple, shared pleasures and grand adventures alike. From legendary road trips driving up the California coast and spirited journeys canoeing down the Delaware River, to countless afternoons spent playing touch football and enjoying good company with his beloved cannabis and alcohol, Roger ensured that every day was an opportunity for fun. He cherished spontaneity and the freedom of being completely present with his loved ones.
Roger’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of his devoted friends, especially his best friend of over fifty years, who shared endless laughter and adventures with him since 1969. Roger Hall’s joyful, loyal, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
