It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Michael Alexander Burns, 27, who was taken from us far too soon on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Stroudsburg, PA.
Born on October 1, 1998, in Somerville, NJ, Michael was the beloved son of Kenneth Burns, Sr. and the late Janice Burns. He grew up in Piscataway, NJ, and later made his home in Pennsylvania, where he continued to touch the lives of so many through his kindness, loyalty, and humor.
Michael worked for several towing and recovery companies throughout his career, including CBR Towing & Recovery of White Haven, PA, and CHC Towing of Stroudsburg, PA. His dedication to his work and his deep love of vehicles—cars, motorcycles, and tow trucks alike—were unmatched. More than anything, Michael loved the people he called family, both by blood and by bond.
He is survived by his loving father, Kenneth Burns, Sr., and his fiancée Barbara LoSapio; his cherished siblings, Melinda Deitrick and her husband Michael, Kimberly Burns and her fiancé A.J. Reigle, Gabriella Hill and her husband Christopher, and Kenneth Burns, Jr.; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were like family. Michael’s presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew him.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ. A private cremation will follow.
In honor of Michael’s love for all things automotive, the family invites anyone wishing to pay their respects to bring a vehicle that reflects that passion. Cars, motorcycles, and tow trucks of every kind—rusted, custom, tuned, classic, or new—are welcome to join in celebrating the life of a beautiful soul gone too soon.
