Joseph Fritzinger, 57 of Middlesex New Jersey, passed away on November 6, 2025.

Born in Bound Brook, New Jersey, Joey was a lifelong resident of Middlesex and a graduate of Middlesex High School. After high school he started a career at Mazda Corporation in Piscataway before owning his own business Honest Electronics TV Repair and Sales.

Joey was an avid Grateful Dead fan, he traveled the world to see them play. He was an animal lover, rescuing and rehabilitating animals regularly, and was a football fan and loved cheering on his favorite team the Chicago Bears. Joey was an active member in the community for many years, working for the Middlesex County Board of Elections.

Joey was generous, selfless, and kind, he was the first person to lend a hand to anyone who needed it, whether it be family, friends, the elderly in town, neighbors and acquaintances at the dog park. Joey's dog Finn was his faithful little buddy who was always by his side, even at the end.

Joey will forever be remembered by those who loved him for his sarcastic humor, his infectious laugh, his vast knowledge, and the love he had for his family and friends. He is survived by his husband Neil, his sister Denise and her husband Jim, his nephews Luke and Jeremy and his best friend Diane Canavan, as well as his large extended family in Ireland and Pennsylvania. He is predeceased by his parents Dolores and Arthur Fritzinger of Middlesex.

Joey said we're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time. Rest in Peace Joey, you will forever be in our hearts. So say we all.
