Zena Agatha Blair, 94, of Plainfield, NJ, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on November 26, 2025.

Born on April 29, 1931, in Uitvlugt, Guyana, to Woolford and Albertha Cummings, Zena lived a life centered on faith, family, and devotion. She was a dedicated homemaker who lovingly tended to her household and took great pride in raising her four children. Her warmth, quiet strength, and constant care left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Zena was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Theophilus Blair. She is survived by her children: James and his wife Faith, Lynette Blair, Ivor Blair and his wife Sandra, and Jennifer Blair and her husband Rodrick and her grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched over the years.

Zena’s family kindly invites relatives and friends to The McCriskin–Gustafson Family of Funeral Homes, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ, where a visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, in Scotch Plains, NJ.
