Mark David Paskowitz, 29, passed away unexpectedly early on Friday, December 5, 2025, at his home in South Plainfield, NJ.

Born in Edison, NJ, Mark has been a lifelong resident of South Plainfield. He graduated from Lakeview School in Edison, in 2017, and went on to attend the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities – Adult Training Center 2.

Mark liked to attend Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield, and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed his time watching shows and sports both on the TV and his tablet. Mark could often be found cheering on the New York Yankees, New York Giants, and both Rutgers Basketball and Football. Trips to watch the Somerset Patriots and taking the train or ferry into New York City were also among some of his favorite memories.

Not only did he enjoy watching sports, over the years, he was able to participate in the Lakeview School 5K. Mark also found great joy in the holidays, especially New Year’s Eve, mainly because he was allowed to stay up late watching Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve Show.

Predeceased by his grandparents, Albert and Phoebe Paskowitz and Arnold and Barbara Tracy, and Uncle, Craig Paskowitz, Mark will be deeply missed by his parents, Glenn Paskowitz and Cheryl (nee Tracy) Paskowitz, and brother, Steven Paskowitz and his wife Dara. He is also survived by his Aunt Allison Nachtigall and Richard Ziolkowski, Aunt Janet Tracy, Aunt and Uncle, Sandra and Bob Mammone; and cousins Rachel, Shannon, Robert, along with a host of extended relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM.
