
Obituary of Saul Samuel Schreier
Saul Samuel Schreier, 94, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025 in Westfield, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, Saul grew up in Hoboken, NJ. Later, he and his wife, Faye, moved to Hillsborough, then Belle Mead, and eventually settled in Somerset, NJ. Saul attended Newark State College of Engineering, now known as New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where he earned his Master’s Degree in Engineering. He dedicated many years of his career as a Quality Control Engineer at RCA Global Communications, beginning in their New York City office and then in their Princeton, NJ office.
He was a devoted member of Congregation Knesseth Israel in Bound Brook, where he shared his faith and community spirit with his wife, Faye. Saul enjoyed traveling, exploring the sights of Hawaii, Alaska, London, Paris, California, and Washington, D.C., accompanied by his beloved wife, Faye.
A man of many passions, Saul enjoyed playing golf, tennis, billiards, and table tennis. He kept his mind sharp with chess, card games, and word puzzles. Known for his great sense of humor, jokes, and witty puns, he brought joy and laughter to those around him. Saul also valued his writing, often composing treatises about life to pass on to his family and friends.
Saul will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the wisdom he shared. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and inspiration.
Surviving are his wife, Faye Schreier; three children, Sheri Rose and husband Jimmy, Jeffrey Schreier and wife Denise, and Daniel Schreier and wife Blanca, and step sons, Mark Gittleman and wife Marci, and Dwight Gittleman.
He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Jason Rose, Colleen Schreier, Corey Rose, Samantha Schreier, and Jessica Schreier, and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge at 1PM.
