I was so sad to hear Bobby passed away. Growing up as neighbors I often heard the story of his being born during a huge snow storm. I remember playing kickball and hide and seek with the many kids on our block. He was always such a nice guy, always respectful. Rest in peace Bobby.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Robert at our last class reunion in 2024❤️ We had a great chat about HS days and life now. He was so great to talk to.. a big Teddy bear and just genuine. I am so glad our paths crossed again! You intended to come to brunch the next day at my house.. never made it and we sure missed you❣️ RIP and condolences to your family.

I was so sad to hear of your passing, Bobby. I thought back to the many kickball games and hide and seek we played with the other kids on our block, sledding down our hill in my backyard and ice skating on Spring Lake. You and I shared a special bond because our two big sisters (dear friends then and still today) welcomed us both as unexpected new arrivals into the world when they were both in their teen years. So many memories! I had the opportunity to chat with you recently when Karen was visiting with my sister, Pauline. I’m so glad we did. May His comfort and peace be on your family and loved ones as they mourn for you. Jackie VanderSluis Larson

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our dear coworker, a truly remarkable soul whose presence brightened every day at Adesa. He was the epitome of kindness, always ready with a warm smile or a helping hand for anyone in need; loving in the way he genuinely cared for his colleagues like family; compassionate, listening without judgment and offering support through life’s ups and downs; respectful, treating everyone with dignity and grace no matter their role; and wonderfully funny, with a quick wit and infectious humor that turned ordinary moments into laughter-filled memories. His absence leaves a profound void in our team, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. Rest in peace, dear friend—you touched so many lives in the most beautiful ways.
