We are saddened that Scott has passed away. Him and his family Tom, Paula and Sharon were our dear neighbors in Bloomindale NJ. He was only 10 years old when we moved there. They were like family to us. Our deepest condolences to Stephanie, Matthew and Sharon. Rest in peace Scott.

From the years I was able to work with Scott and get to know him, he was always had a happy demeanor and usually a joke or two; usually playfully off color; despite people appearing to groan at some of them, I know Scott’s presence and the fun and levity he brought to the people around him was special. I will miss him greatly. Scott always had others in his focus, and he conducted many meaningful acts of service to others around him. He was a gracious neighbor and helped his next door neighbor on many household tasks the neighbor wasn’t able to do. He was an honest and humble person, and worked hard to do what was needed and what was right. Scott cared about doing the right thing and he also shared his experiences and stories and lessons from the past; some of which I still hold onto today from his work as a quality engineer. like most good stories, those have been allegorical to life. I do wish I had been able to work with him longer and get to know him better; he was someone I truly trusted and could count on at work and in life outside of work, and I enjoyed his company and the kind way he interacted with everyone. I will miss him. I pray he is with our Heavenly Father now and can reunite with his wife Patti and that he will find eternal rest and peace.
To Scott’s children; you have endured the hardest things in life, way earlier than anyone should. However you can, carry his spark and zest for life on within each of you. I know he will always be a part of both of you. Honor him by living as graciously and joyfully as he did, and celebrate his life for the times you shared good and bad. It never gets easier; but, in time, I pray you do find peace and comfort as well.

I worked with Scott at ITC and was invovled in Boy Scouts with him. We shared the same camp site at Cub Scout events. We were both Quality Engineers at ITC and worked on multiple projects together. Even after that we would often meet for lunch and complain about the Giants. He was aways willing to help and share his time. I will miss his sense of humor and sharing lunch at Tony's. He was a kind and giving person. I will miss him. My Condolences to his family.

Q: What was Scott like as a child?
A: He was a kind soul. He was a happy guy and loved life. Loved to shoot hoops with friends. A smart individual with great knowledge of many things not just science. A good student in school. My brother was a classmate of his and a neighborhood friend of Scott. I became his friend on Facebook and enjoy reading the places he visited with his Wife and children over the years. Learning even more about this guy who lived right around the corner from our home.
He will be surely missed and I will remember our chats as adults.
RIP my Friend as you join your wife in heaven..
