As my neighbor, we often exchanged something special we cooked or baked. And yes, as a friend, she will be missed more than those recipes. 5 years ago, my husband surprise Doreen and built a small work table for her small patio. Unexpected the morning of December 26, Alan passed away. The evening of December 26, Dorreen once again received another surprise. Alan greeting her at heaven gates.

Q: How did you meet Doreen?
A: I met Doreen in 2003 when we took sign language classes together. We had a similar sense of humor and we hit it off pretty well. We also bonded because we had lousy tase in men. I would always be the one to say the things she was thinking. We had a ton of laughs - especially with Photoshop. Doreen was into Star Trek so I photoshopped her in a Star Trek uniform. I even photoshopped her with Madonna for a laugh. I can't believe she's gone. 66 is far too young. If anyone is reading this, remember to laugh. Remember to not take things so seriously. Because that was Doreen. She will be missed forever.

So sorry to hear of Doreen's passing. I fondly member our years spent at Fatima and High School. One of my best memory was her teaching me harmonica.

I moved next door to Doreen in 2018. She was the first neighbor to welcome me, with a couple fresh rolls of toilet paper in case I was unprepared. I enjoyed helping where I could, when I could. She was a great person. I was very sad to hear of her passing.

Started just as mowing job turned into a great 6 yr friendship where wasent about money anymore when she first got sick we were sitting on couch talking about her skydiving I said id loved to do it she laughed smiled said when she got better you would said heck yeah I'll jump out of a plane with you lol she was one of few amazing woman ive ever had pleasure to meet im honored to been blessed to know her and consider her family so sorry for you guys God Bless you all she took a pc of my heart ill forever remember the laughs
