Obituary of Fay Gano Pellerin

Please share a memory of Fay to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Fay Gano Pellerin, 64, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

In the small provincial town of Lagawe, Ifugao, Philippines, Fay was born to Monica and Nazario Gano. However, her early career as a flight attendant for Saudi Airlines, took her to the United States and Saudi Arabia, expanding her world views and fostering her love of travel and cultures, which she often shared with her family and friends.

Always close to her family, Fay split her time between New Jersey and California for the last few decades. Some of her favorite pastimes include dancing, bowling, gardening, playing the slots, cooking, movie-watching, and reading books – all made infinitely better when she did them with her friends and family.

Predeceased by her husband, John Pellerin, Fay leaves behind her mother, Monica Inhumang, and siblings, Edwin I. Gano, Bella Gano Takinan, and Madelyn Akiate. She will also be deeply missed by her seven nephews, four nieces, and six grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ, on Saturday, January 10, 2025, from 1 PM to 6 PM.

A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, January 10, 2025, at 5:30 PM.
