Judith L. Perry, 86, of Plainfield, NJ, and a former resident of North Plainfield, NJ, passed away on January 1, 2026.

Born in South Bound Brook, NJ, Judy was the daughter of Lambert (Sonny) Locke and Ruth (Louise) Belles.

After graduating from Bound Brook High School, Judy held many different jobs, but she spent most of her more than 30-year career as a real estate agent and broker.

Judy considered her most important success to be serving her Lord, Jesus Christ, which she did in many ways for many years.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Cheryl Slater; her son-in-law, John Slater; her brother-in-law, Arthur Kinsley; her sister, Ruth Kinsley; and her brother-in-law, Walter Adams.

Surviving are her sisters Nancy Adams and Janie Preiser and her children Deborah Slater, Alan Carmon (wife Terri), and Lisa Perry. Her grandchildren: Mandy Hickson (husband Graham); Rodger Sisco; Melanie Carmon; Michael Carmon (wife Jessie Jameson); Marianna Root (husband Michael); and James Sansone (wife Katie). Her great-grandchildren: Vivienne Hickson; Ashleigh, Johnathan, and Kyle Sisco; Elena and Olivia Root; and Brielle Sansone.

A memorial will be held at Evangel Church, 1251 Terrill Road, Scotch Plains, NJ, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11 AM with Pastor Walter Nistorenko presiding.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Alzheimer's Association in Judy’s name.
