Edwin has been my colleague since he started working at RWJ . He had wealth of vascular knowledge and experience which he shared with us and always ready to help and guide us when we were stuck with difficult studies . He will be missed . My sincere condolences to the family .

Edwin was more than a coworker to me — he was my mentor, my teacher, and someone I was lucky enough to later call a colleague. I was first his student, and he guided me with incredible patience, kindness, and generosity. Even during teaching moments, he brought joy and humor — when I had a great ultrasound image, he’d say, “hit it, hit it, hit it,” or “take it, take it, take it,” always reminding me to always grab the moment. He was deeply loved by everyone who knew him, and it was impossible not to feel supported in his presence. I affectionately called him “Papa,” and that’s exactly who he was — someone who looked out for others and made you feel cared for. His impact on MY LIFE and career will stay with me forever . Rest peacefully, Papa. You will be deeply missed. ❤️

Edwin was my mentor at RWJ. Such a wealth of information and knowledge, always willing to teach and help and always with a smile. We had alot in common and enjoyed speaking often about faith, family, friends, travel, and of course work. He was such a light in my life and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this devastating time.

Edwin was a beloved colleague of mine for about 10 years at RWJ ❤️ we all admired him for his knowledge and dedication. I remember listening to his stories about his travels, his family and his faith. Sadly for the last five years I only got to see him in the hospital as a patient but he will always remain in my memory as a smiling, charming and chatty friend. I am extending my most sincere condolences to the whole family. May Edwin rest in eternal peace, free of pain and suffering.
