
Obituary of Judith M Antonini
Judith M. Antonini, 85, passed away Friday morning, January 9, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Judith grew up in Sayreville. She and her late husband, Anthony, previously resided in Plainfield before settling in Piscataway in 1968 where they raised their three children. After many years in Piscataway, they relocated to enjoy their retirement in South Carolina.
Judith was a woman of many passions. She loved reading and cooking, and she will be fondly remembered for her love of animals. She was a member of the American Legion Post 186 in Little River, South Carolina, loved to travel and enjoyed many bus trips to Lake Placid with her family and friends.
She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a zest for life. Judith will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her husband, Anthony Sr. Antonini and son, Anthony Jr. Antonini; surviving are her two daughters, Lisa and Laura as well as her three cherished granddaughters, Courtney, Kaitlyn and Kelly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judith’s memory to either the Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park or to a local animal shelter of your choosing.
Family and friends may attend the visitation to be held in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 4pm until 8pm.
A funeral mass will be offered on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 10:00AM in the Church of the Sacred Heart Church, 149 South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
