Obituary of Patricia K. Rochotte
Patricia K. Rochotte, 88, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing and Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, NJ.
Born and raised in Chicago, to the late Reinhart and Nonie Kelly, Patricia graduated from High School and briefly worked for Irving Trust as a banker. In 1956, she married Edward Rochotte, who she had been dating since the 5th grade. In 1973, the two settled in South Plainfield and Patricia has been a longtime resident of the borough since.
Raising a family with Edward was of the utmost importance to Patricia, and she devoted her life to not only her children, but her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Throughout the years, countless memories were made with her family as she helped raise most of them. She was often seen as a secondary caregiver for many of the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents and siblings, Nancy Kelly Wright and William Kelly, Patricia is survived by her husband of 69 years, Edward A. Rochotte and children, Dawn Noonan, Michael (Joan) Rochotte, and Gregg (Holly) Rochotte. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Samantha, Lindsey, Jaclyn, Katheryn, Joshua, Justin, Jaime, and Jacob; great grandchildren, Robert, Charlotte, Madison, Thomas, Emma, Bella, Charles and Theodore, along with a host of extended relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5 PM – 7 PM.
Following a private cremation, burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, in Wrightstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the Rochotte Family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Patricia’s name.
