
Obituary of Maryann Telesco
Maryann Telesco (née Rizzolo), 82, of Hillsborough, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026.
Born on December 25, 1943, in Newark, New Jersey, Maryann brought joy and love to all who knew her throughout her remarkable life.
Maryann was the beloved wife of Peter Telesco, with whom she shared an extraordinary 63 years of marriage.
Together, they built a beautiful family that was the center of her world.
She is survived by her devoted children, Peter Telesco (Lauren), Vincent Telesco, and Tinamarie Wagner (Cliff); her cherished grandchildren, Amanda (Christopher), Trevor, and Christopher and her precious great-grandson, Christopher Peter. Maryann also leaves behind her loving siblings, Nina Lepski (Pete), Carmella Adolffson (Goran), and Santo Rizzolo (Maureen). In addition, she will be deeply missed by all of her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Maryann is now reunited with her parents, Santo and Lena Rizzolo, as well as her brother Anthony Rizzolo. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and newly great-grandmother, Maryann's family meant everything to her. She poured her heart into creating a warm and loving home for those she held dear.
Beyond her family life, Maryann had a passion for cooking delicious family meals and decorating houses in which she took great pride in transforming spaces into beautiful reflections of comfort and style. She also enjoyed playing Canasta with friends—a pastime that brought laughter and camaraderie-and had an undeniable flair for fashion. Always a trendsetter, Maryann embraced every style with grace and confidence.
Maryann's legacy is one of love, creativity, and devotion to family. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 4-8PM in the Piscataway Funeral Home 18 Stelton Rd. Piscataway, NJ 08854.
The Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 beginning at 11AM in the funeral home.
Immediately following the funeral service, Mary Ann will placed to rest in the family crypt in the Mausoleum of the Holy Spirit at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway, NJ.
