Philip L. Brian, 84, passed away March 4, 2014 at the Somerset Valley Rehab in Bound Brook. Born and raised in Kansas, Mr. Brian settled with his family in Piscataway in 1968.Mr. Brian proudly served an enlistment in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a part of the USS Tarawa from 1953-1954. He was a former Chief Boiler Engineer with Henry Heide Inc. in New Brunswick.Philip was predeceased by his wife Grace D. Brian who passed away in 1997. Surviving are his daughter Beatrice Brian of Piscataway; his son Philip Brian of PA; his step-son Kenneth Augello; his six siblings and his grandsons Eric Wayne Brian and Kevin Lee Brian.Graveside services will be held Friday 11:00 am at the Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854.
