South Plainfield - Dawn S. Ferrari, 69, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ.
Born in Jersey City to the late Marcia and Irving Gillette, Dawn resided in Colonia. She settled to Plainfield where she spent most of her life before relocating to South Plainfield in 2001.
The co-owner and operator of Holiday Hairdressers, Dawn was a fashionable woman who enjoyed crafting, decorating and shopping.
Predeceased by a brother, Robert Gillette, surviving are her daughter, Lisa Scott and husband, Dave Scott of South Plainfield; two grandchildren, Amanda Plum of Los Angeles, California and T. J. Scott of South Plainfield and nephew, Eric Gillette.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Sunday, January 3, 2015 from 3-6PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080. Funeral services will begin at 5:30PM.
Burial will follow on Monday at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Shrewsbury, NJ.
