Obituary of Marie N. Yodlow

South Plainfield - Marie N. Yodlow, 99, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2016 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover NJ. Born in Windber, PA Marie resided in Bloomfield and Whiting before settling to South Plainfield with her daughter. Initially, she worked for F.W. Woolsworths in Bloomfield and retired from Bell Telephone in Newark in 1979. One of her greatest enjoyments was playing cards, especially pinochle. Predeceased by her husband, George and son in law, Robert Murray, surviving are her two children, Nancy Murray of South Plainfield, NJ and Edward Jenkins and wife Lois of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Ida Hoching; four grandchildren, Dan and Jill Murray, Leigh Anne Stoft and Tom Jenkins, nine great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 9AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in Sacred Heart RC Church at 10AM. Entombment services will be held privately in Whiting Memorial Park. Family and friends may join for visitation on Tuesday from 3-7PM in the funeral home.
