Obituary of Virginia M. Campbell

Plainfield - Virginia M. (Kratz) Campbell, 82, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville. Born to the late, George and Rose (Famularo) in Jersey City, Virginia resided in South Plainfield for several years before settling to Plainfield. Prior to retiring from the NJ Carpenters Fund in Edison, Virginia worked for Meeker Trucking in South Plainfield. She enjoyed reading books, crocheting, and was an animal lover, especially of her dogs. A fantastic cook, Virginia enjoyed taking trips to Wildwood with her grandson. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph, surviving are her four children, John P. and wife Elaine of Cedar Grove, Kenneth M. and wife Toni of South Plainfield, Joseph and wife Terri of Hamilton and James P. and fiancé Minelva of Plainfield and sister, Catherine Demico of South Plainfield. She will also be missed by her four grandchildren, Caiti, Alex, Robbie and Sam. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by burial in Hillside Cemetery. Family and friends may join for visitation on Monday from 2-4PM & 7-9PM.
