South Plainfield, NJ - Nona M. (Westhoven) Woodring, 75, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born and raised in Paterson, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Kelly) Westhoven. She graduated Pope Pius High School in Passaic and furthered her education at All Souls Nursing School in Morristown where she obtained her nursing degree.
Nona enjoyed sewing and gardening. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Nona leaves behind her loving husband Joe, her sons Kevin (Donna,) Christopher (Lorraine,) and Kelly (Tracey.) She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and her siblings; Ed (Gail) and Amy Berry (Pete.)
Visitation will take place in McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a 3:30 pm religious service.
At the request of the family, cremation will take place privately.
