I went through grammar school and high school with Frank. He always greeted everyone with a smile and held no animosity to anyone. After 50 years, we met again at the NBHS Class of '63 Reunion. We stood side-by-side for the class picture. Although we only exchanged a few words, I was struck by how little Frank had changed physically over all those years. He looked pretty much the same as his yearbook picture. Most of all I saw that he still had that same welcoming smile! He will be fondly remembered by all of us.

Judy and family, There are two ways of remembering people who leave us and start another journey. We either cry over their absence, or smile and remember them through the countless memories that have stayed back. I'm sure Frank wants you to smile forever. He is watching you now and will forever be your guardian angel. Stay strong. All my love.

One of the last times I saw Frank was at a wedding last year; we sat at the same table. When the song, " When the moon hits the sky like a big pizza pie" played, Frank was one of the louder singers. Also, he had the ability to strike up easy conversation with everyone, including my 16 year old daughter; a testament to father of three girls. My thoughts are w/Judy and the girls for continued comfort and healing.

I am so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. My husband Bob and I both worked for him in Plainfield. He was wonderful and had an open door policy when it came to managing. He was truly a great guy and loved to talk about his family. I used to run the parties and he would always attend with Judy. What a wonderful couple!!! He motivated us in a positive way and because of that we worked hard to attain our goals. He always had a smile on his face and was definitely one of the good guys. Hands down he was the best manager I have ever worked for!!! Rest In Peace Frank--- My condolences to the entire Romano family.

I had the privilege of meeting Frank a handful of times, but I got to know the MAN we all knew to love thru the LOVE that his beloved wife had for him and shared through and with all of us!! It was a special kind of love!!! As a little girl I dreamed of fairytale love stories and the dream I had as a child was alive and living in Frank and Judy. Their love was heartwarming and to be admired. Frank was a GENUINE MAN, a kind, gentle loving man who will be sorely missed by many. I pray that God wraps his wings around Judy and comforts her as she says good bye to her best friend. To the family I simply say THANK YOU for sharing such an angel with the rest of us!! Frank when you get to the gate look for my dad Greg amongst the angels and rest now. Watch over us and well see you soonWell take care of JuJu!!!

It is with deep sadness to hear of the loss of Frank Romano. He was a calming presence at DeVry. He alleviated the stress of an older student returning to school and guided with an assurance that let you know everything would turn out okay. Coming to learn of our similarities of growing up in North Bergen just added to the fact that I was working with a very special person. Rest In Peace Frank and Thank you for all your help. God Bless your family.

To the entire Romano family, I offer my most sincere condolences during this time of loss. I had the absolute pleasure and privilege of working with Frank for the past five years, and I can honestly say that he is one of the nicest and warmest people I have ever met in my life. Frank was truly a class act and a really wonderful human being. I will remember him always for his advice, his humour, and most of all for the way he made you feel comfortable and at home. Frank was always there to cheer you up when the day was tough. He always had nice things to say and was always encouraging. He always talked about playing golf and said a day on the golf course was like taking a walk in the park. Every time I pass a golf course and see the players walking I think of Frank. He was always special when he was here and now God has a very special angel joining him in heaven. He left a lot of people with wonderful memories. To Frank's family always remember the time you shared together and laughed at his jokes. He always talked about you and loved you very much. Let your memories help you through this time and the coming days.
