Cape May, NJ - Dolores A. "Dee" Wilson, 73, passed away on December 6, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold. Born in Newark to her late parents Thomas and Alice (Del Tufo) Sperduto, she lived in Belleville and Nutley before settling to Cape May forty years ago. Dee retired from the County of Cape May where she worked for thirty years as a social worker. She also was employed as a Hotel Ambassador at Waikiki Oceanfront Inn in Wildwood Crest. She belonged to the Juvenile Conference Committee in Cape May County. Dee loved to travel with her family and friends, playing bingo, going to Atlantic City and completing needlepoint. She was predeceased by her son Edward F. Wilson, Jr. in 2013, sister Carol Ann De Nude also in 2013, brothers Nicholas Sperduto in 2011 and Thomas Sperduto in 1997. Dee leaves behind her extensive family; nieces; Diane Sperduto Conroy (Thomas) of South Plainfield and Joanne Sperduto Zeliff (Mark) of South Plainfield, nephews Nicholas Sperduto (Kathy) of Glen Gardner, Nicholas De Nude (Nicole) of Nutley, Thomas Sperduto of Stillwater, NJ and sister JoAnn Santoro (Elio) of Cary, NC, granddaughter Brandi Skinner of Wildwood, sister-in-law Joan Sperduto of Phillipsburg and brother-in-law Nicholas De Nude of Lodi. Visitation will take place at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 1-5pm with a religious service beginning 4:30 pm. Cremation will take place privately and burial of her cremated remains will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent to the Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 would be appreciated.
