Helen Klecan, 96, died on Friday, December 9, 2016 in The Woodlands in Plainfield.
Helen grew up in Union and resided in South Plainfield prior to relocating to Toms River.
Mrs. Klecan worked as a Department Supervisor at the former Steinbach's department store in Plainfield before her retirement.
She is predeceased by her husband William Klecan, daughter Carol and three brothers.
Helen is survived by her son, Robert Klecan of Maine; grandchildren, Michelle, Aubrey and Elyse Klecan and three great grandchildren, Izabel, Kalie and Branden Diaz.
Relatives and friends will be gathering for visitation and funeral services on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
