Obituary of James William McCallen

James William McCallen, 73, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016 at his home. Born and raised in Perth Amboy to the late Albert Edward and Anna McCallen, he resided in Piscataway and was a former resident of North Carolina, before settling back in Piscataway in 1989. Jim worked at Livingston Hardware in North Brunswick before his retirement. He belonged to the Crystalettes of Piscataway for many years and had a directed the drill team and drummers. Jim enjoyed collecting art, and had a love of photography. He had an incredible clown collection, loved genealogy and tracing family roots, and enjoyed sharing his passions with his family and friends. Surviving are his loving son, Keith Goodyer (Chris) of Indeo, CA, his dear siblings, Alberta Brennan with whom he lived, Arthur McCallen (Nancy) of Belford, NJ, and Joan Gatlin (Jerry) of Guilford, NY, his cherished granddaughter Kristin Johnson (Allan), his two great grandchildren, Garrison and Kadence, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. A private memorial service will be held at his residence on Saturday, July 16th 2016 at 11:00AM
