Bob was one of the first classmates I met upon my arrival at The Citadel. In fact on that very night He and I and another classmate went out to Folly Beach for a last evening of freedom before officially entering the Corps of Cadets the next day and beginning our Plebe Week experience. We also shared some Education classes together and were both student teachers during the 1st semester of our Senior year. I was shocked by this news as we had corresponded just a few weeks ago about his attending the 55th Reunion this coming Fall. I also was encouraging him to attend our annual Class golf outing at Pinehurst in May. I was looking forward to that reunion after all of these years. Now I shall look forward to our meeting in Heaven. May God grant each of you in his family Peace and Comfort at this time. May He Bless all in the legacy of Bob and Maureen.

Bobby was the starter on weekends at the Spooky Brook Golf Course. He was a professional at his job, and kept the golfers entertained with his jokes as they waited to tee off. The entire staff at Spooky Brook is grieved by this sudden, unexpected loss of one of its family. We will miss him dearly.

He was a fellow Yankee fan, but most importantly, he was the best neighbor a girl could have. Along with your mom, I had two friends downstairs that I could count on for anything from checking in on me when I was sick to borrowing an egg. Mr. A was always so kind, generous, and ready with a joke. Don, Tom, and Jeff, I am so truly sorry to hear of his passing. I enjoyed "keeping in touch" with him on Facebook, and know through his many posts and tributes to her that if he had to leave you so soon, at least he is full of joy to be back with your mom. I pray the many happy memories you have will comfort you during this sad time.
