South Plainfield - Marie T. DeSabato, 85, died Monday, October 30, 2017 at The Woodlands Nursing Home in Plainfield.
Born in South Plainfield to the late Anthony and Emma (Audreotta) DeSabato, Marie remained a life long resident.
She worked for MACYs in South Plainfield and was a devoted volunteer for the South Plainfield Republican Party. Marie enjoyed gardening and pruning her fig tree.
Predeceased by her parents and two brothers; William and Joseph DeSabato, surviving are her sister, Josephine DeLessio of Edison, three nephews, Thomas and Joseph DeLessio and Joseph DiSabato and two nieces, Joann Otlowski and Linda Meixner. She will also be missed by two great nephews and one great niece.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080, followed by interment in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
Vitiation will be held on Thursday from 3-6PM.
