Obituary of Marion T. Koczanowski

Middlesex, NJ - Marion T. (Beczynski) Koczanowski, 93, passed away at her home in Middlesex on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Born and raised in Bound Brook to her late parents Benjamin and Rose (Plick) Beczynski, Marion was a 1941 graduate of Bound Brook High School and settled to Middlesex in 1952. As a homemaker, Marion enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to crochet, knit and cook. In her early years, she could be found completing crossword puzzles. She was a familiar face at W.T. Grant in the Middlesex Shopping Center where she worked as a cashier from 1966 - 1974. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley who died February 13, 2011, her brother Robert, his wife Frances, and sister Florence Szablewski. Marion is survived by her loving children; Marilyn Wolverton and husband William of Ship Bottom, Robert Koczanowski and his wife Jan McCreary of Overland Park, KS and Roseann Kennedy and her husband Kevin of Kingwood Township, her four cherished grandchildren; Kyle, Kelsey, Kolby and Kirk, her dear brother Richard Beczynski and his wife Marlene of Metuchen, her brother-in-law Richard Szablewski of Barnegat and her devoted caregiver Ruso Tiabashvili. Visitation will take place at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Sunday, May 15, 2015 from 2-5pm and on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 8:15 am until 8:45am. Funeral services will begin 8:45 am in the funeral home on Monday, May 16, 2016 followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Memorial contributions sent to the Middlesex Rescue Squad or Police Department would be appreciated.
