Obituary of Charles J. Czuprewicz

Warren - Charles J. Czuprewicz, 82, passed away at JFK Medical Center in Edison on Thursday, October 19, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Somerville to the late Charles Sr. and Mary (Southerland) Czuprewicz, Charles grew up in Manville and spent mornings and summers at his uncle's dairy farm in Neshanic. He has been a resident of Middlesex for the past fifty years. Charles served his country as a medic in the United States Army from 1958 until his honorable discharge in 1962. For over thirty years, he was an owner with Allstate Cash Registers in Fords where he worked in sales and service. He was an avid golfer and during his lifetime, he was able to say he achieved having six holes in one. A Hillsborough Country Club Champion for multiple years, he also enjoyed bowling, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren watching them play baseball, football, dance and cheerlead and he even coached his grandson's baseball team. A very philanthropic person, Charles devoted much of his time to better the lives of others. Predeceased by his beloved wife Janet, his sister Loretta Rager and his granddaughter Janet "Janna" Zilinski, Charles leaves behind his loving family; daughters Nancy Mastrull and her husband Joseph of Raritan Township and Karen Zilinski and her husband Jim of Warren, three adored grandchildren; Brianna and Eric Mastrull and Jimmy Zilinski and his brother Victor Czuprewicz and his wife Patricia of Wind Gap, PA. Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 4-8pm and on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 beginning at 10:30 am. Funeral services will begin 11:00 am in the funeral home on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 with burial to follow at Bound Brook Cemetery.
