Catherine L. Carrigan, 68, passed away March 28, 2015 at her son's home in West Long Branch. Born in Stoughton, Massachusetts, she was raised in Staten Island, NY and has resided in Edison since 1993.
Cathy was a Registered Nurse who was employed with JFK Medical Center in Edison for over 30 years. She was a devoted member of the All Saints Lutheran Church in Piscataway and most importantly, she was a loving Mother and Grandmother.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Stephanie McQuade; her grandchildren, Mehgan, Bobby, Liam and Lila McQuade; her sister Rev. Margaret Latorre; her niece Kathleen Gentile; her nephew Michael Sheppard and her longtime companion Richard Herring.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 am at the All Saints Lutheran Church in Piscataway. Visitation hours are Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854. Committal will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cathy's name to the American Cancer Society.
