Obituary of Constance O. Harding

Constance Olive Harding, 95, of Green Brook, passed away peacefully at home on November 7, 2017. Born and raised in Augusta, Georgia to the late Robert Lee and Rebie Elizabeth Olive, she went on to attend Coker College in South Carolina where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Science. Constance worked as a chemist for Calco in Bound Brook, New Jersey. She married the late James Harding and settled in Green Brook where they raised their family and she resided for the past 69 years. Mrs. Harding was an avid reader who was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years James Harding this past May and her dear brother, Robert Lee Olive, Jr. Surviving are her loving children, James O. Harding and wife Ruth, Thomas Harding and wife Beverly, Katherine Carpenter and husband Michael, and David Harding, her cherished grandchildren, James Maureen, and Andrew, her dear sister Anna Bannister, and her extended family. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM to 11:00AM on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Green Brook Baptist Church, 170 Greenbrook Rd, Green Brook, NJ, with a service to follow at 11:00AM under the direction of the Middlesex Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Westover Memorial Park, Augusta, GA under the direction of the Platt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Green Brook Baptist Church.
