Obituary of Gail L. Campbell

South Plainfield - Gail L. Campbell, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at home with her family at her side. Born in New Brunswick, to the late Frederick and Alice (Parse) Funk, Gail resided in Iselin before settling to South Plainfield almost 40 years ago. A customer service representative for Comcast in the Union and Plainfield offices, she had also worked at the former Photo Professor Video Store in South Plainfield. Gail was an active member of the South Plainfield American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Sacred Heart RC Church and a member of the South Plainfield Twin Mothers Club. Predeceased by her parents and five siblings; Dolores Brown, Richard, Rusty, Walter and Chester Funk. Surviving are her companion, Angelo DeAndrea, four sons; Wendell Born and wife Kimberly of South Plainfield, Brian Born and wife, Susan of Harrisburg, PA, Jarrett Campbell and wife Brooke of East Brunswick and Jason Campbell of South Plainfield, siblings; Bernice Funk, Barbara Thomas and Patricia Seubert. She will also be missed by her eight grandchildren, Taylor, Christopher and Deleaney Born, J.R. Sierra, Tyler, Cameron and Bret Campbell, as well as, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation hours on Friday November 6, 2015 from 4-8 PM in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ., 07080. A funeral service will take place at 8PM with cremation and interment services following privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Haven Hospice, C/O JFK Medical Center 65 James Street, Edison, NJ 08820.
