Obituary of Russell J. Pornovets

South Plainfield - Russell J. Pornovets, 25, died on Monday, October 12, 2015 at home. Born in Edison, Russ resided in South Plainfield for his entire life. He graduate from South Plainfield High School in 2008 and was a member of the football team for all 4 years. He was currently employed at LongHorn in Piscataway and also caddied at the Plainfield Country Club in Edison for several years. Russell enjoyed taking trips with his friends to Atlantic City and was also a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Russ had a great personality and a good heart. He was well liked and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents and is survived by his parents, Shirley and Russell Pornovets of South Plainfield; sister, Bonnie Pornovets and her fiancé Greg Korkowski of Port Reading; nephew, Conor Korkowski and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:30AM in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the funeral home.
